2017 FEAT Kids Speaker – Lauren Bauman

Lauren Bauman, born and raised on the Northshore, is currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences at Quest University in Squamish. Her academic interests range from Physics to Literature but in her free time, Lauren enjoys figure skating, reading, art, going on walks with friends, exploring and adventuring.

Embracing the outdoors however, wasn’t always one of Lauren’s passion. She struggles with Anxiety & OCD, and did not always recognize the power of nature and the fun unknowns of travelling. Despite her struggles, Lauren is proud to say that she has been able to find love for the wild and camps with her friends, enjoys the hikes found in the Sea to Sky corridor, and has even traveled to over twenty countries, spanning five continents.  Lauren is thrilled to be speaking at FEAT kids 2017 and is excited to share her story!
