2017 FEAT Kids Speaker – Arianna Vallely

Growing up on the North Shore in Vancouver, Arianna Vallely was brought up to be physically active in the outdoors and to enjoy her surroundings. Last summer, her mom and dad suggested the family kayak down the entire length of the Mackenzie River, 1750 kms to the Arctic Ocean.

Arianna was a little unsure of what would happen to an 11-year old on a kayak making her way to the Arctic Ocean. She recalls “It wouldn’t be a normal summer at all, but it definitely would be one to remember.”
