Megan is 14 years old and currently competes in ladies singles, in figure skating. She trains with some of the best skaters in the world, including Kevin Reynolds who won the Olympic silver medal in the team event at Sochi in 2014.
Megan is the reigning Junior Champion in BC and was the bronze medalist at Canadian Nationals. Megan’s goal is to compete at the Winter Olympics in 2018.
Two years ago at the tender age of 12, Megan travelled to Italy to compete in her first international competition and won bronze! In this past season, Megan was one of the four Junior ladies in Canada who got selected to represent Canada in the Junior Grand Prix events where the best Junior skaters in the world compete.
While Megan is continuing her journey to become a world famous figure skater, she has had many victories and challenges along the way. How does Megan deal with the downs? What does she do to overcome challenges?
