Sofia Ngieng – Get Lost

In the summer of 2014, Sofia travelled around China and Malaysia for 5 weeks. During her trip she discovered many things, some factual but most about herself. Her travelling companions were her parents, younger sister, and grandparents. Sofia’s grandpa David Ngieng(Ning) was born in Malaysia and that’s where he grew up. While growing up he faced many hardships and challenges. It is from the stories and experiences He told Sofia about, that opened her eyes to a whole array of new possibilities. It is through travel, exploration, and getting lost, that Sofia has found some of the most important things in her life.
