2016 FEAT Kids Speaker Announcement : Reid Watts
Raised in a mountain community, Reid has always enjoyed sliding down hills – on skis, a sled, his bum or a bike. Luge took sliding to another level for Reid. In December 2008 he participated in a Luge recruitment camp at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Since then he has won his first World Cup overall trophy, six World Cup medals and three National Championships. Reid has competed on 10 different tracks in 5 countries!!!
Most recently on February, 14th Reid represented Canada at the Youth Olympic Games, not only earning Canada’s first medal of the Games, but a Bronze Medal to be exact in the men’s luge event.
It will be a pleasure to hear from this talented, young man at our upcoming show!
