A year ago, Priya Puri went on the trip of a lifetime to Ecuador. She had always wanted to travel andimmerse herself in different cultures so when the opportunity to go on the trip came up, she couldn’t say yes fast enough.
The trip was a 10 day “Voluntour” hosted by Free the Children with a mission to participate in hands on work at a school in the village of Llullin (pronounced Joo-Jeen).
Going into the trip, Priya was nervous and did not know what to expect. By the end of the trip, she had experienced more than she could have ever asked for and saw the world from entirely new perspective.
Priya realized the community people she went to give a hand to consequently taught her more about life simply by being themselves. Today Priya is here to share with you a few of the adventures from her trip to Ecuador that had a large impact in changing her outlook.
