When Hunter was 5 years old, he was given the choice between competing in either Biathlon or Ice hockey. Do what he loved or do what his friends did was the true background of the question. And I think many of us can relate to a situation similar to this!

After much thought, Hunter chose: passion. He chose biathlon and has never regretted the choice. The sport created opportunities. It has lead him to a North American Cup gold medal, a BUFF precision shooting competition record and many provincial titles. It has also opened the door for him to get into competitive running and he has since set a Junior course record at 5Peaks Whistler.

In 2014, he was the youngest finisher of the Squamish 23km trail race. He thanks Biatholon everyday and has never left his dedication and love for sport waver.
